First-Ever Half Marathon in Frisco Set for April 16 at Toyota Stadium

Frisco is hosting its first ever half marathon and 5K benefit run on Saturday, April 16. The Texas Big Star Half Marathon and 5K Run Benefit will be at Toyota Stadium, and all experience levels of runners are welcome to participate. Corporate teams are also encouraged to participate in the event that begins at 7:30 a.m.

The Texas Big Star Half & 5k will start and finish at Toyota Stadium. To ensure runner safety, the USA Track and Field certified courses will be closed to traffic for four hours.

If you are interested in running, please register by Thursday, April 14 and your name will be entered into a drawing to win a guitar autographed by Country & Western artist Tim McGraw (please see registration information below).

Autographed guitars will also be presented to the overall male, female and adaptive winners


The Tim McGraw Foundation (TMG) and Luke’s Locker, in conjunction with the North Texas Community Giving Foundation, are presenting this historic event that will benefit Adaptive Training Foundation (ATF), Emily’s Place, Honor Courage Commitment – 22 Kill, Lost Paws, and Make-A-Wish® North Texas Foundation.
