Frisco’s Black Walnut Cafe is Opening Soon

Established in 2002, the contemporary American restaurant Black Walnut Café will soon open its doors at their newest location in Frisco. The elegant-yet-casual experience in fast dining hailing from The Woodlands has since grown to 10 branches in Texas and is continuing to expand into other southern states.

Black Walnut Cafe exemplifies the word eclectic. The menu will cover every meal of the day, starting with philly-cheesesteak omelets and brioche French toast for breakfast. Later in the day, visitors can choose from a range of dishes that include Asian barbecue salmon, lobster tacos, and Black Walnut’s signature pot roast—complete with brown gravy, house potatoes, and roasted veggies. The café will satisfy sweet teeth as well, with house-made gelato and a rotating selection of baked goods.

“We have 100 items on the menu, from salads to fish to steaks to sandwiches, all custom made-to-order,” Vice President of Operations Joe Brassard quoted by Houston’s Impact News said. “You can eat here every week and not have the same thing twice.”

Did we mention, doubled the happiness with a happy hour offered twice daily on weekdays?

Construction on the Frisco location began in August 2014, located on the intersection of Legacy Drive and Warren. While there is no exact opening date, Black Walnut Café hopes to also make an impact in the community.

From the sounds of it, the freshly prepared quality ingredients used in every dish will soon send your taste buds into a frenzy – possibly even making it your favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner spot.

We welcome Black Walnut Café with open arms. Bon Appétit!
